Actually any scar treatment covers the basics, like dents, scratches, white lines, and redness, So I sat go ahead and use it and if the redness doesn't fully go away, just use a skin lightener, or go consult your GP.

Hi! Yes, you can take the skin b5 while using the derma cleanse system. The tablets in the derma cleanse are strictly herbs that are intended for detox. The main compolnents ofthe skin b5 are b5, vit a and zinc. This won't be a problem. The derma cleanse system also works by reducing sebum production so you will just want to watch to make sure you don't get too dry.
Just another thought.... I looked at skin b5 website because I wanted to find out the amount of b5 in their capsule but couldn't find this info. Maybe you can look on the bottle and see what it says.
FYI... I did accutane about 15 years ago and it cured my acne for about ten years. I didn't start producing oil again until just a few years ago. My oil production is now back to where it was pre-accutane which is to say that my face looks like the Valdez oil spill! My acne is back again and I haven't been able to control it with topicals and antibiotics. Before considering accutane again, I decided to try a last ditch effort by megadosing on Vit B5. Now, I know this is contraversial to some, but I did my research beforehand and decided that FOR ME that the risk of taking high dose of B5 is low and worth trying.
I started taking 8 GRAMS of vit b5 (pantothenic acid) per day about a week ago and I can't believe the difference in my oil production already. I would say in one weeks time I went from extremely oily to normal skin. I haven't had a single new pimple form in the last 5 days and before I was waking up with 2-3 new pimples each and every day. So, I am very pleased so far and going to stick with the B5. I have read many things about B5 treatment and it seems the thing to do is to get your skin to where you want it (oil free, acne free) and then slowly decrease the daily intake of B5 until you get to a dose where you can still see maintenance. For instance, you may decrease by 1 gram per week and find that you can take a daily dose of 3 grams with great results.
I'm sharing this because I presume that skin b5 works the same way. I just don't know what the dosage is. And, I know it is probably more expensive that just buying b5 at your health food store. I bought a bottle of 500mg pantothenic acid at vitamin shoppe that has 300 pills in in for like $19. Assuming I take 7 grams per day, it should last me for 3 weeks. So, if you find you get good results with the b5 you could switch to this so that it isn't so expensive. Or, if the skin b5 doesn't work then you may try this route because the dose of b5 may not be adequate in skin b5.

well i find that it works pretty well for me, i use it more so in the winter when my skin is dryer... but if you have a really bad acne problem or acne prone skin you should use a gel cleanser just in case. Zenmed is really good for treating acne, but back to the rare minerals cleanser I love it and I have acne prone skin so I have to be very careful with what I use.
does the rare minerals cleanser clog your pores? b/c the ingredients have a total of 8 or 9 different kinds of oil listed in the cleanser!!!! the ONLY oil i know of that will not cause breakouts is tea tree oil. my dermatologist told me basically all other oils can cause breakouts if you have severe acne prone skin like i do.

i'm not familiar with either, but I would imagine a peel would be helpful in removing dead skin cells and thereby helping fade the scar. personally, i just apply Vitamin E oil twice a day on the scar area. that's helped fade a number of scars for me over the years.
