I have heard and used this line a number of times before, while watching some of my friends eat, at home, at parties. Let me spend a few minutes sharing about specific food cravings and their biochemical cause.
It is not eating too much that causes food cravings or gaining some weight but it is the selection of food you eat. Cravings for food are heightened when eating some certain types of foods i.e. some type of food stimulates and increases them and eating another type of food might help them. The latter food really does have the ability to do away with your desires to eat without any control. For instance, you can choose to take some vitamins in order to stop them such as B vitamins – also known as b-vitamins. By taking these vitamins you can be sure of a controlled break down of food in your body i.e. b-vitamins help in the metabolism of carbohydrates into sugar glucose that is simpler. The B-complex vitamins can be found in liver, nuts, leafy green vegetables, rice, milk, eggs, meats, fish and whole-grain cereals fruits.
Chemical imbalances in our body aggravate cravings for food and if you need to gain access to the right nutrients for your body then you should consider eating the right kind of food and thus help restore chemical imbalances. This is true even for woman who are premenstrual and want some foods that fight PMS.
Now that you know about chemical imbalances I guess you can understand why some weight loss advertrisers claim that you can eat as much as you want but still lose weight. Yes, fat is a major energy source, but it doesn't necessarily mean that athletes aren't consuming enough fat or that fat increases a person's metabolism. Our body can synthesize triglycerides for storage regardless of whether or not fat is consumed directly in the diet. As long as a person consumes enough energy (preferably carbohydrate which is metabolized via glycolysis & the TCA cycle more rapidly and doesn't undergo beta-oxidation) they can store fat- as long as total intake is >expenditure.

It is only healthr if the package says 100% whole grain. If it says "enriched" or "processed" it isnt great. That means they have taken out the healthy part of the wheat, and probably bleached it.
