The PROSTATE CANCER
Introduction:- Prostate is a glandular organ present only in males. It surrounds the neck of bladder & the first part of urethra and condributes a secretion to the semen. The gland is conical in shape and measures 3 cm in vertical diameter and 4 cm in transverse diameter.It has got five lobes anterior,posterior,two lateral and a median lobe.Since the first part of the urethra pass through it any lesion in the prostate will produce difficulty in passing urine.
Diseases of the prostate gland:
1) Prostatitis:-This is the inflamation of the prostate gland due to bacterial infection.
2) Benign enlargement of the prostate:-This is a non cancerous tumour of the prostate seen after the age of 50. 3,Cancer of the prostate:-This is the 4th most common cause of death from malignant diseases in males.
Cancer of the prostate.
Cancer of the prostate is directly linked with the male sex hormones(androgens)~Cancer of the prostate is directly linked with the male sex hormones(androgens}.If the levels of sex hormone increases the growth rate of cancer also increases.It is found that after the removel of testes there is marked reduction in the size of tumour.
Site of tumour:-Prostate cancer is seen mainly in the posterior lobe.Non cancerous enlargement is seen in other lobes.
Changes in the gland in cancer:-The gland becomes hard with irregular surface with loss of normal lobulation .Histologically prostate cancer is an adeno carcinoma(cancer of the epithelial cells in the gland)
Growth :-Growth rate is very fast in prostate cancer .The tumour compresses the urethra and produce difficulty in urination.
Spread of tumour:-Metastasis in cancer of prostate is very early.
1) Local spread:-From the posterior lobe the cancer cells go to the lateral lobes and seminal vesicles.Tumour cells also move to the neck and base of the urinary bladder.
2) Lymphatic spread:-Through the lymph vessels cancer cells reach the internal and external illiac group of lymph nodes.From there cells move to retroperitonial(Behind the peritonium) and mediastinal lymph nodes(in the chest)
3) Spread through the blood:-Spread of cancer cells takeplace through the periprostatic venous plexus and reaches the vertebral veins while coughing and sneezing and finally enders the vertebral bodies of the lumbar vertebrae.

Prostate cancer does not make your rectum bleed. There are no symptoms usually associated with prostate cancer but sometimes men will have problems with voiding (of course that can just be from an enlarged prostate and not cancer). The only way that prostate cancer is suspected is if the PSA (blood test) is elevated and a rectal exam to check how the prostate feels. The ONLY way to tell for sure if there is prostate cancer is to have a prostate biopsy.
The fact that you have pain in the rectum and blood with bowel movements is more likely hemorrhoids than anything else.

One big tell is the fact that everyone that has cancer has an acidic body. I had a baby girl pass away from brain cancer. I feel it could cured using a different approach. Well, first & foremost I am sorry for your loss.
However, this could be many things.
I am curious, did you purchase him from a pet store? It is all too common for this to happen to genetically-mutated dogs. (ie. inbreeding pre-petstore)
It sounds to me like it was a poisoning, as it can be extremely difficult to tell what could have poisoned him. From Coccidiosis, to blood poisonings it really will take extensive blood work to determine what it was.
I personally think it was probably a genetic defect, causing organ failure associated with growth, and resulting in a slow bodily shutdown.
Please remember that your dog didn't die suffering. Dogs live in the moment, and right up until his last moments he was thinking "Hey mommy! Can you get these wierd guys away from me!"
Unfortunately, humans believe that dogs die similarely to humans and will blame themselves for not intervening sooner, but realistically, he obviously had a good life with a family that cared about him, and not for a second would he be considered unfortunate.

Actually what I said was it SOUNDS LIKE is a poisoning,
what I BELIEVE is that it was a genetic defect. They are all too common with every inbred animal, which, if this had come from a pet store, is an extremely likely cause of death.
With another vets opinion (one that has seen him personally) makes it SOUND like the dog was poisoned, not neccessarily what I believe it is.
Please don't make blatant statements that you know nothing about.

ALOT of the symptoms you have described are familiar to me and I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Heart Palps, Fatigue, pain in joints, anxiety, stomach problems, acid refux increase, vomiting, inability to concentrate, depression, headaches....etc..are just a few of the symptoms associated with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome(CFS or CFIDS) This disease/disorder is hard to diagnose..Sometimes docs insist on also going to a psychologist as well because some parts of science think it has a mental connection...However, they now are believing more that it is a type of virus that happens during a bout of the flu, depression or anytime body is at a very weak point..It is an Autoimmune Disease!!!..Try to goto a good doctor who recognizes the CFS (some say the disease is just in the head (asses)) and have him refer to to a specialist. But CFS is not the only disease that is hard....keep looking into rare diseases or disorders that may be related to your symptoms..and demand tests...because many doctors or insurance will only test in the most common areas..... No matter what....do not take know for an answer....If you feel that something is still wrong after all your test and have know answer..demand more....goto another doctor...find specialist...etc...There is always an increase in the "its all stress or in your head" when dealing with women...Do not allow that...You know your body..and unitll you know your body is in its right ....keep looking...I would really like to know if you ever find a diagnoses..so if ya could drop me a line when you do...just to tell me what is was..i would greatly appreciate...if by chance it CFS...drop me a line as well and I will help you out ....GOOD LUCK and many hopes of blessing and peacefulness for you!!!
