The Law of Attraction and Irritable Bowel Syndrome.
IBS affects as much as 20% of people globally. Symptoms of Irritable Bowel Syndrome are pains in the abdomen bloating and altered bowel pattern. In addition there can be rectal symptoms such as irritation and urgency. There are also non-colonic symptoms.
Treatments of IBS fall into four categories. Patient education, medication, dietary modification and behavioural and psychological therapies are the four categories. It is agreed amongst experts that psychological and behavioural therapies are more likely to be effective that the other three.
The law of Attraction suggests that you attract into your life whatever you think about. The simple explanation of the Law of Attraction is that your thoughts determine your destiny. The Law of Attraction has built up an enormous momentum after "The Secrets"; a documentary film, was shown on Oprah. It has been used for some time for personal growth, achievement and financial gain.
The question is: Does the Law of Attraction work in Medicine? In 2004, a study of 196 young people and 314 elderly subjects associated with rumination and negative thoughts concluded that negative thoughts may be detrimental to health independently of effects. In Reikii, all processes of healing or personal and spiritual development is associated with elimnating from a person's energy field negative KI or life forces, and removing negative feelings and thoughts that have created it.
Negative thoughts, following job loss, relationship break ups and poor assessment, affect self-esteem. These people can feel worthless, insignificant, unsure and easily defeated. A positive person usually have high self-esteem and their level of success is determined by these thoughts.
In Irritable Bowel Syndrome, does the Law of Attraction apply? What information is given to a person when first diagnosed with IBS? There are some common ones. No one is quite sure why you have IBS. There is no single treatment that works for everyone. There is no abnormality in your gut. Stress can trigger IBS symptoms. A cure is not an option. With IBS, you have to live with it. Most IBS sufferers complain that they do not get the support they need from health professionals.
All these facts are negative. Is it not likely that they can lead to negative thoughts in the minds of IBS patients and lead to negative outcome? Recently experts are recommending treatment that focus on the mind for IBS treatment. Treatment such as psychotherapy and cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) are producing excellent results. "Patients who have ongoing IBS symptoms might benefit from a simple, early intervention of CGT, a means of changing thought processes from negative to positive that has been shown to be helpful." Said Moss-Morris at the University of Southampton Dr .J. Lackner at the State University of New York reported that after four brief sessions of CBT and a self-study manual given to patients, there was improvement in 73% of his IBS patients.
When an IBS patient tries a new treatment, expectation may well create significant improvement. This benefit may not last long because of the negative underbelly (There is no cure.) in the subconscious mind. Soon the benefits may wear off.
There are cases of refractory Irritable Bowel Syndrome patients following a course of hypnotherapy living normal lives, eating foods that were previously triggers. In refractory IBS nothing works anymore. Negative thoughts are plucked out of the subconscious mind during hypnotherapy and postive thoughts are added. The Law of Attraction is at work here. Ingrained negative thoughts created negative effects in refractory IBS. After hypnotherapy, positive thoughts produced positive effects.
Using the Law of Attraction, how can you improve your symptoms of IBS? Keep the positives in the forefront of your mind. Convert these positives into your reality and your thoughts and feelings will change. In IBS there are many positives. There is no abnormality in your gut. Your IBS will not lead on to other illnesses. If stress is a trigger, you can control it. You can balance your lifestyle to improve your IBS. You can lead a full life even though you have IBS. Whatever IBS treatment you are on, keep your dreams and aspirations positive.

Why does youtube make it so hard to view your video and to listen to what you have to say. Why was your daibetic video removed.
what makes you say that?
Yes it's likely to make it less effective if you get diarrhea within 1/2 an hour of taking it. Otherwise it should be absorbed.
I have recently been diagnosed with exactly the same thing. everyone are different but I bloat up and cant go to the loo so its quite uncomforable. I found peppermint tea (as horrible as it is) gave me some relief. I also took some senakot the other night to help and felt much better for it the next day but that isnt something you can take all the time or you will become dependant on them to help you go to the loo. I found that eating a lot of fruit helps like bannanas etc (not citrus fruits). Also porridge is good! I have heard Aloe Vera works for this too so I have ordered some aloe vera tablets, i hope they come soon as I really want them to work! This website helped me a lot so have a read and you might find something that will help! also drink lots of water! this seems to help!
I understand your pain hun, none of my family understand either and it has to be one of the most depressing things to have to deal with!
Ok Celiac disease is when you cannot absorb certain foods. In example, my friend Mollie has celiac disease and she can't process wheat and corn and many foods, but she is an extreme case. Another friend, Michaela, just can't proces gluten. so there are variations of the symptoms
Make sure you look at different foods in your diet. A lot of people have issues with gluten and it triggers IBS in a lot of people. I have celiac disease so I can't eat gluten and I see people all the time on the celiac boards who weren't diagnosed with celiac, but cut out gluten and found that their IBS went away completely. Dairy is a trigger for others. A friend of mine reacts to caffeine terribly. Eat as many fresh fruits and vegetables as you can.
have had it for over a year, despite the constant meds and diet changes it has destroyed my life:)

my husband has had ibs for 4 yrs. We've tried all types of diets, medications, antidepressants, etc... Recently we tried the generic of Zantac before each meal. The H2 blockers (histamine blocker) keeps the stomach from producing excess stomach acid and also calms the smooth muscle in the digestive tract. He has also tried enteric coated peppermint tablets that are a natural anti-spasmodic and soother. Both seem to be helping him quite a bit, he no longer has the lower left abdomen pain, stomach crams and diarrhea. The H2 blockers keep the stomach and intestines from producing the excess acid, gas, and bloating the minute food enters your mouth and the digestive process begins. Also, try to not eat late, drink water, and try to relieve some of the stress in your life. I hope this is helpful, it might not help everyone but it sure has helped my husband.
i think i figured it out. it is related to the 'quality' of sleep. in fact, i am almost certain that this is the one thing that initiates it. it isn't even sleeping 8 hours, sleeping quality that is the issue. i am of the opinion after thinking and doing everything that could be done, that sleep that in not disturbed, is in complete 'darkness' and reaches the levels needed repairs the issue. sleep clinics are something people can look into.
Did you have a colonoscope done. There are other meds. available for this. I also have it and mostly just deal with it, but I am home all the time and it is very frustrating. I suggest other meds and maybe something for anxiety.
