The Curing of Scars Hypertrophic
When fibrous tissues bond to replace skin that has been broken through an injury or surgery is known as a scar. In the body, this is a usual process that happens to mend any wound on the skin and deeper tissues. During the process of curing, scars are very natural occurrence. The skin is dissimilar from the scar tissue. The hair does not grow back on scar tissue and it is common because it is n ot as elastic and flexible as the skin it replaced.
Scars Hypertrophic is the red thick scar that happened from surgery or injury to the skin. It grow only in the area of the skin injury unlike the keloid scar that can grow into the outside area of the injury but both of this scar can be similar in shape and size at times.
However, the hypertrophic scar heals by itself unlike the keloid scar. The size of the scars hypertrophic will diminish within 12 to 18 months but do not completely disappear unlike the keloid scars. alike events like injection, surgery, injury, acne and body piercing can caused both keloid and hypertrophic scars but they have nothing to do with family history or ethnic background. The ears, shoulders, and breastbone are the usual place on the body for scars hypertrophic formed.
The Healing of Hypertrophic Scars
With the swelling and sensations of pain diminishing in about 12 to 18 months, the scars hypertrophic usually heals with no assistance but we can speed up t he process with certain things like steroids injection or the topical application of steroid ointments and cream. The hypertrophic scars removal can be surgically accomplished. But occasionally hypertrophic scarring can occur from this method due to its surgical nature, and a board certified plastic surgeon is the only person to do this surgery.
People with today technologies can use of silicone sheets to eliminate scars hypertrophic and other treatment for scars for a certain length of time daily to get end result. The scar will improve in appearance greatly by stimulating the skin to heal itself overtime. To treat the hypertrophic scar, it is recommend that you have to ask a medical doctor to make sure which path you should to take.

pt3 Do hypertrophic scars itch and hurt too? and can people get both hypertrophic and keloid scars?
The tongue is a prime source for infection. It is dark and moist, the perfect breeding ground for germs. If something goes wrong with this piercing, are you willing to accept having no one understand what you are saying for the rest of your life? Think before doing this. A lot of people have done it but it doesn't make it safe.
Hi Doctor Lam, I had 2 cystic acne on my nose when i was 17. I'm now 22. The acne left 2 bumps on my nose. they are round, firm, skin colour, 0.6cm in diameter, and they have pores on them. some doctors said they are some sort of whitehead that stayed dormant for years and some said they are hypertrophic scars left by the acne. I really wish to know if they fit the bill of hypertrophic scar and if there's any test I can have to make a more precise diagnosis. thanks a lot!! love ur videos! =)
There are no at home remedies for treating hypertrophic or keloid scars. The only way to successfully remove or minimize the appearance of these types of scars is to surgically excise them, or to inject them with a steroid medicine like Kenalog. You will need to visit a plastic surgeon, because they will be able to advise you on which method (or combination of methods) will give the best results for your particular scars.
If your location is remote enough that consultation is difficult, you may want to find a plastic surgeon who is able to look at digital photos or perhaps even perform a consultation via Skype so that they can see the scars and give you an idea of the treatment options. The internet is a great resource for connecting, and although not every clinic is using these tools yet, clinics like the one I work at are, and I'm sure that there are others as well.
Now I feel so depress...I thgought getting the injections would worlk but now i feel i will remain scar for the rest of my life...

I had my piercing for two whole years before I developed any scarring, but then I wore a nose bone that was too short for too long, so I developed hypertrophic scars on both the entrance and exit holes. Honestly, sea salt soaks are the thing that got rid of it for me. Like yours, mine went mostly away but not completely, so I just kept up with SSS (less frequently though) and after a few weeks it was gone completely. Frankly, tea tree oil just screwed mine up more, so I wouldn't recommend using it. Just be patient and it'll eventually disappear completely - hypertrophic scars are known to spontaneously regress. Good luck :]

Something that may help a keloid -
crush up some plain old aspirin and mix it with a little bit of water. put it on the bump while you sleep for a couple nights and you should notice the bump start to go away after a few days!
good luck!
Fully agree with tea-tree oil clearing up keloids, used it myself. Just try a little in case it stings - may need to dilute it. I had mine with my industrial just from sleeping on it and general abuse. Also, people with darker skin are more prone to it, and can be quite common.
I have experience. I have a few keloids on my back, and I just had one removed from my ear lobe. One or two treatments will be performed. Either, the doctor will inject the site with a steroid solution to reduce swelling and redness or --- the doctor will surgically remove the scar. However, in your case, the doctor may just inject it with a steroid solution [kenalog]. This helps a lot. It softens the scar, but remember, you will always have a scar there. You will just replace a larger scar for a smaller one.
call a doctor not eating could be serious about the scares mederma may work
thank you so much for the information!
Is this availabe in the UK?
Different things seem to work for different people..
A dab of tea tree oil or emu oil once a day
Or a warm cammomile tea bag compress
There are a few other remedies, but they don't seem to work as often, and usually involve something bad.. (like dettol?)
Sea Salt is amazing..... however it will go away on it's own as long as you don't bother it.

try smaller jewelry and cortisone 10 creme... it should help. Others say try tea tree oil.
Gah, bummer! Mine weren't very happy either. What were you wearing when they got irritated?
Unfortunately, my piercer says there's no way to make it go away. I started to get a bump next to the exit wound of my piercing and I had to remove the bar, wait for it to heal and then get it re-pierced using a longer bar. The swelling caused by the piercing caused the nipple area to encompass the balls of the barbell and caused the scarring.
Some people say that using a buttermilk lotion can help reduce scarring, but I haven't tried that yet.
Good luck!
The grammar in this video sucks and the website is shit. This only leads into them wanting you to buy their product. Don't believe me? Visit the website at the end.
