When trying to build muscle and lose fat, weight training is the most important thing you can be doing . But why? Isn't it enough to just diet and do cardio? Well that might be enough for some people, but everybody's health can be improved through resistance training. Women might think to themselves that they don't want to gain muscle but in reality they are doing themselves no favors either for their health or for their body's appearance by not using weights. Men too of course will benefit from weight lifting. Below, I've included some ways you can incorporate exercises to help you build muscle and lose fat :

Incorporate Weights Into Cardio - Wearing weights on your ankles, carrying weights while you walk, or wearing a weighted vest while jogging or doing cardio are so some of the easy ways you can incorporate weights into your everyday workout routine.

Pushups and Situps - It's the easiest thing in the world to do some sit-ups, pushups, or squats before, after, or in the middle of your jogging session or aerobic workout.

Substitute Weights for Aerobic Workouts - If you're doing six days of cardio a week, why not try and switch out two of those workouts for weight training? By doing simple weight training with light weights won't be beneficial to gain muscle mass .

Circuit Training - Circuit training is a special form of weight loss resistance training that allows you to keep your heart rate up like you would in cardio. Simple do your weight lifting routine with more reps and less weight, and try to rest as little as possible in between sets. Doing cardio and weight training at the same time is like killing two birds with one stone !

A great way of achieving the results you are looking for is to find a circuit training workout plan that is best suited for you!
