How can I treat sunburn blisters?

I've had this sunburn since Wednesday, and Thursday the blisters started coming in. They started to go away after Friday, and today my skin, where the blisters were, is all rough. I use aloe, lotion, and this stuff for scars. Im afraid that it will peel and/or get worse. How can I treat it to make it go away faster without leaving my skin totally damaged? What works best?

WriterMan answers:

DO NOT take a hot bath like the answerer above suggests. This will make the burn worse. On the contrary, you should take cold showers and baths. If your burn was bad enough to blister then it will most likely peel and that is unavoidable. Just keep the area moisturized with Aloe. I feel your pain sweetie. I currently have a severe sunburn with a lot of little blisters on my shoulders and a couple on my back and chest. Not to mention, I'm swollen from the burn, OUCH!

Hang in there and keep that skin moisturized!

How to treat sunburn that's turning into scabs?

So, a few days ago I didn't wear sunscreen when I went out into sun for gym. Then I got a few blisters on both my cheeks and they are turning into scabs.

How can I treat them like make them heal faster and make the scabs fall off faster?

also, i made a TERRIBLE mistake by lightly exfoliating my face and I think that worsened the sunburn skin and how can I not make the scabs scar?

WriterMan answers:

The scabs mean it's healing.Don't worry. Just apply Aloe to it (It's sold in most drug stores or you can use the Aloe Vera plant) The Aloe does not hurt if you think it's going to hurt. Also,Aloe makes it heal WAY faster than letting it heal by itself

How to treat sunburn blisters?

I can take the sunburn, just not the blisters. They're painful and hurt alot! How can I treat them. Mind you we do not have a bathtub just two showers. My mom said she looked for Aloe and she was unsucessful. I've been using Lanacane spray, but now it just doesn't work.

WriterMan answers:

you definetely need some Aloe (try a pharmacy, wal-mart, convenient store, ext ) gently dabbing ice will help with the pain.
If they are small don't pop them they will usually heal right up, but if they are abnormally large you may have to drain them. Do NOT scrub away loose skin it will only irritate more. Don't bandage unless you have open sores (then use a light gauze or bandage loosely.) hope i helped
