Sinus Trouble
Sinus pain is felt more strongly in lower part of the nose. The nose feels tender to the touch and flabby as if the cells are being decomposed from within the nose. The embarrassing part of sinus pain is the constant need to void the nose of the mucus that is always there no matter how often the nose if blown to rid it of the obstructive mucus and accumulated dust and mites. The fact is that it is a tiresome and unpleasant feeling knowing that such material is constantly lodging in your sinus cavities.
There are also over the counter nasal sprays and saline sprays. Saline sprays are non-medicated and simply contain salt water. Using nasal sprays involve holding one nostril closed while inserting the cone applicator into the other nostril and breathing in sharply while squeezing the bottle.
We want quick relief to our headaches and stuffiness. We simply want to feel better fast. Some people may want to have sinus surgery thinking that this will get rid of the infection in one fast trip to the hospital operating room. You may find that sinus surgery helps but it does not mean you will never have sinus infections again. You may try antibiotics but the side-affects are not to your liking.
There's many ways to prevent the symptoms of Sinusitis. Be aware of what you are allergic to avoid it as best as you can. Make sure there is proper ventilation in your house, open the windows. Be sure to sleep with your head elevated to help your sinus drain. Stay awake from pollutants in the air such as smoke, these will only irritate your nose. Make sure you're eating properly with a good diet and sufficient exercise. Lastly, try to maintain your distance around people whom are already infected.
Besides the tender nose, pressure in the forehead there is also the constant feeling that one's ears are stuffed or that something is pushing in the ear canal. Sinus sufferers often hear a crackling noise in their ears that must be from the mucus or the irritation in the sinus cavities. The ears don't usually hurt but the constant clearing and crackling noise is irritating and often leads to what could become a dangerous habit of inserting cotton swabs in the ear canal to try and clear out the obstruction.

no, but they lick their anus so much that they can get pretty groggy.
Political questions are always so sensitive and I will answer as diplomatically as I can. I don't think people without any first hand experience, or those who are extremely negative should add much input to this question. I am a proudly South African woman, of mixed race. People of mixed race can also say that they have it tough, being in between black and white. They, too, say they are discriminated against, worse than any white, or black person. You then get the large Indian population, who will also claim the same.People, no matter who/what they are, tend to sometimes wear discrimination / crime / apartheid/ colour / political problems/ history, like a badge and use it, when convenient, as an excuse for their own hardships and downfalls in life, or for problems that might not have not directly affected them. On the other hand, in my line of work, I have seen more than the general public would know about, regarding crime and violence and the results thereof. It's not a bed of roses living there and one needs to live with heightened awareness and a fair amount of street smarts.I could also be describing my last year abroad, by saying that. Regarding work, I think people need to study and work hard. Sometimes people should not complain about it, but do whatever they can get, because when in other countries, those people could be in a situation where they would have to do whatever they can get, things they would never consider doing if back in South Africa, no matter what race they are. I certainly have done that for a year, living abroad and ended up right at the bottom, albeit, with an education and work experience. Could I then say I was being discriminated against, being a black person in a largely white man's country? No, I chose to get on with it!
I grew up during apartheid, lived through gang violence in the townships and experienced the peaceful transition, when apartheid ended.I went to school and studied thereafter. After that, did more post grad studies and worked hard.I come from a single parent family and we were very poor.I chose my own destiny and financed my education.I have experienced crime, but see it as crime that I could have experienced in any other big city anywhere in the world.
I have a full circle of friends, from all works of life and many of those are white South Africans. Some of those are very prosperous. What do you mean are they treated as citizens, of course they are! They contribute as much, if not more, to the country as any other person living there.I have black friends, who are just as prosperous and others like me, who are middle class, working people. A number of these white friends have also immigrated into the country from Europe, UK,Ireland, Scotland, Australia and America, to name some. They have been in the country for more than ten-twenty years. Most people living in the country can say they choose to stay, with or without problems.I know of, or have nursed a number of white South Africans, who have a name in politics, are either members or leaders of political parties and or have been aound for many years.
Zimbabwe, although situated in Southern Africa, is certainly not part of South Africa and another country altogether, so their problems should not be looked at as being part of the South African experience. No, not every person that is from South Africa will experience crime on any scale. A lot of expats will either always call South Africa home and return there all the time, or most of those with bad experiences, in whatever form, will not want to return. Africa lives in your blood, either love it or hate it, but please see it as a continent with 51 different countries, all with their own problems, unique to each other.

sorry.... surely S.A. is a beautiful place, but since the whole Africa is corrupted and poverty is everywhere... It might scare other people from other nations to be going to S.A. Esp. if they are from Asia (few years ago... an Asian family was basically massacred overnight b/c apparently they attracted ruthless and poor criminals with the restaurant business which they owned.) It might be a bit scary.... It will never be the level of quality which Germany provided. *sorry again*
But, hake! it's the WC. I'm sure that ppl will still go there. But... S.A. is VERY EXPENSIVE....

I am in no way a medical professional, but I have to respond because I have twice in my life had conditions that could not be diagnosed. Both eventually were, but what a horror show until then.
My first thought on reading as far as your instant reaction to the gin potion was allergy. Short of a pre-existing condition, I can't think of anything, other than a poison, that could act that fast.
As I read further, I was going to mention mold but then you did. Mold is insidious. Mold can cause hundreds of nasty symptoms. That you had been sleeping on it for god knows how long means that you were breathing it in all that time even though you didn't know it was there. I don't know if there is a medical specialty in mycology but it might be a place to start.
Also, consider that what's going on may have been caused by more than one condition or more than one allergen or mold or ... If the gin event was an allergy, maybe it triggered nasty mold spores that had been hidden in your larynx.. I mean, I'm just throwing out ideas here, but it could be two or three different maladies.
In any case, don't give up. There is a doctor who knows what it is and has at least an idea how to cure it.
Good luck.

try using products containing xylitol, a natural antibiotic that prevents a lot of infections. You can find it in toothpaste, chewing gum, a nasal spray and a sweetener. Best for a young child is probably to get the sweetener and mix a quarter gram with milk or water. Give it to him after every meal. Restrict how much sweet stuff he eats as that feeds the bacteria causing the infections.
Financial support in exchange for political support. The same situation happened in Spain during Franco's regime.
"Systems like the one developed in South Africa, that is to say racial caste systems, are not strange to the history of the world; but it is strange that the South African caste system is defended by some Afrikaners in the name of Jesus Christ and that in this way the integrity is at stake of He who came to break down the walls between the races and reintegrate humanity into one body. This pseudo-theology profanes the name of Christ."

Categorized in Health Issues,
Sinusitis is an infection of the sinuses, caused by inflammation of the sinus cavities and surrounding area. Symptoms can include pain and pressure around one or both eyes, the forehead, the cheek or top jaw (sometimes confused for a toothache from the pressure and resulting pain behind the back tooth), as well as foul smelling breath, sinus congestion and nasal discharge, sometimes thick and yellow or green in appearance. Treating Sinusitis can be a challenge.
