Know the Signs and Symptoms of Asthma in Your Child
Asthma in children is a very serious condition that can be potentially life threatening if not managed properly. The problem is that it can be hard to see the signs of asthma in children. It can be more difficult to control as well. That's because children simply aren't as focused on their symptoms and the need for treatment.
There are several symptoms that you need to keep an eye out for in order to recognize and treat pediatric asthma. The most typical signs of an asthma attack are coughing, wheezing, shortness of breath and difficulty breathing. These symptoms are pretty much the same in both children and adults.
However, they can sometimes be more difficult to detect when it comes to the younger generation. For instance, children frequently run around while they're playing, and subsequently become hot and breathless. But this is also a signal that an asthma attack is happening. Your child might be having more trouble breathing than you realize.
So far, there is no absolute cure for asthma. However, there are many ways to effectively manage the condition. Typically, a child with asthma will be prescribed an inhaler. This is the fastest way of getting medicine to the lungs when it's required immediately. Frequently, pediatric asthma is treated with something known as combination therapy. This involves the use of an inhaler that delivers more than one medication.
Some parents like to supplement pharmaceuticals with a more natural approach to managing this disabling condition. But before starting any new treatments, it's important that you consult with your doctor. There's always the potential for interaction between natural asthma treatment and prescription drugs. Since they're natural, people tend to think of them as completely benign. The truth is, though, that they sometimes have ingredients that don't react well with other medications.
Some natural treatments involve lifestyle factors rather than supplements. These are considered to be a safe and effective supplement to medication. For example, developing an asthma treatment plan is a common approach to managing the condition. You and your child need to be aware of the triggers that can set off an attack. You need to recognize the warning signs that usually precede it. And of course, you both need to know exactly how to treat an attack once you recognize the signs.
Pediatric asthma doesn't have to ruin your child's life. When properly managed, he or she can enjoy a normal childhood. The key to this is learning as much as you can about the condition and how to treat it.

You could try next :
put your hand over your shoulder, so you can touch the top of your shoulderblade. With the other hand you put your thumb on your ringfinger nail.
Do this 15 minutes left, 15 right, at least twice a day, better is 3 times.
Consecutively for 21 day.
Just hold, don't press, you could feel for pulsations or other sensations, I find it works best if you stay relaxed with the attention to what you feel.
You can also put this hand that does the finger-hold under you buttocks so you sit on it. and do this right and left. This is a hold that can lower your breath (helps for people that breath too much from the chest).
Just do it, and see what it does for you. The result could be immediate, for others it takes more time, but it's good to persist and continue the exercise.
Good luck
It is great that you produced this DVD. I am curious to know what kind of patient feedback you got for DVD Living With Asthma from both kids and parents.
All violins require some sort of rosin on the bow to make sound. Electric violins do not differ from acoustic violins in this regard.
You might explore "Clarity" rosin, which is sold here:
I have not tried it, so I cannot say if there is a difference in sound using this substance.
You did not say how extreme your your father's allergy was. Minimizing the exposure might help, or it may make no difference, perhaps trying the following:
1) Don't apply any more rosin to the bow than is necessary, and "flick" though the hair away from the face, to remove excess before he plays.
2) Wipe down the strings, top of the instrument, and bow stick with a soft cloth to remove all the rosin dust after each time he plays.
3) Make sure that your father does not handle the rosin except with a cloth or the felt wrapping.
Drugs in other countries are just as safe as those in the USA.
The FDA officials are allowed to accept money from the drug mfg. and have a huge conflict of interest.
Have you noticed how many drugs have been approved, later to have class action law suits filed against them?
Until our goverment gets a handle on the FDA, I'm taking everything with a grain of salt.
while historical trauma may be indirect I think it can be a completely real & valid trigger.
brief but good
Here is what I would do if I was you.
Go to a sauna daily (that in itself will be a healing experience).
Extend the periods of tme you stay in the sauna.
Do the dry and wet sauna.
You will see how you body likes or dislikes it, and really, Thailand can feel like a sauna.
That should tell you if you should visit Thailand.
pray
For once I'm being serious. My son had asthma when he was just a few months old. If your child has asthma, see if you can get a machine called a nebulizer. You can rent them from medical supply places. Just ask your doctor to prescribe medication made for a nebulizer. Just keep up with your childs medication and all will be OK
I think you'll find he is clearly talking out of his arse, he pathetically claims absurdly that 4m died at Auschwitz which is an out right lie which i'm sure he knows is wrong being an academic but he needs to keep to the lie as to keep the nonsense 6m number in the public eye. Why don't you check out the actual dead number from the Nurenberg trial. I think you'll find they agreed that 300,000 died there, the verdict can be seen on youtube.

sounds like a migraine, if u have never had them, or you feel like this is the worst headache of your life you need to go to the dr. I have migraines and I take my prescribed meds and sleep it off in a cool dark room. If you take otc migraine meds its important to take it as soon as you feel the migraine symptoms, which is the sensitivity to light, sound, nausea. Never heard of shortness of breath with a migraine, which is why I would consult a dr.

Scoliosis causes your rib cage to turn if it is severe enough, (and if you needed surgery than it was probably severe enough) anyways when the rib cage turns it can put pressure on your heart and lungs. Mine was so bad that it actually puntchered a lung! So I still have alot of breathing difficulty.
Some prescription drugs can be very bad for you. Weed is nearly harmless. Parents should be more "worried" about alcohol than weed, as it is worse for health. And, unless you have a kid that could start looking to drugs for answers, then they need not worry at all.
What parents should worry about, is educating their kids, whether it is about history, religion, or drugs. Once both the parents and kids are educated on the subject, sobriety and weed both look like pretty good options. Occasional alcohol. Maybe one or two times hallucinogens. None of this will hurt you.
you all should add closed captions for the deaf. It would be very helpful.
