I also belong to a Lifetime Fitness. You should certainly talk to the manager. The one thing they 'pride' themselves on is the general look and cleanliness of the facilities. Regardless of the state health requirements, I suspect they will act to keep the pool cleaner.

No, I believe that is a little to forward. You have to find the lady working out by herself, then get on the machine next to her. You can ask for assistance setting the machine, and then mention how nice her outfit looks and that she is in such good shape. If she responds favorably then you can be more suggestive in your comments, good luck.
Hey, I just moved here about 1 1/2 months ago, I live in the VIII district and work in the VI district and I am looking for a fitness gym to join. I'd really like a place with aerobic machines (stair climbers, etc) and some weight machines (for those of us who are intimidated by free weights). Yoga and spinning classes would be fantastic. Not expensive is ideal. Thanks for any suggestions

I'm in Leeds but I doubt our one is cheaper ! Especially if you live in York, I can't imagine that Leeds would be that much cheaper as to make it worth travelling over. Still worth checking out the pricing on each though. I've heard loads of good things about David Lloyd but if it's mainly for the kids I'm sure they'd be just as happy with a less expensive place. There is Fitness First in Kirkstall, my uncle is a personal trainer there.
