Eczema treatment
Credits also go to: Face Moisturizing. Although the medical approaches to a health condition like eczema are pretty diverse, they all take into consideration factors like the causes, the typology and the individual factors that make it peculiar for every patient. Symptoms have the main word to tell when it comes to establishing a treatment. Eczema is an inflammation of the skin also known as dermatitis; the term eczema is used to refer to a broad range of skin conditions that are persistent. Skin swelling and redness, itching, dryness, flaking, blistering, cracking and oozing represent the most common forms of manifestation.
On certain occasions a slight discoloration of the skin is possible because of the healing lesions, with the mention that the scarring risk is very reduced.
The causes of eczema are not very well known but this condition is mainly an inherited one . Therefore, the eczema treatment is seldom recommended starting from the causes. Nevertheless, the eczema treatment does depend on the identification of the eczema type.
A relevant publication to mention here is the 2001 European Academy of Allergology and Clinical Immunology (EAACI)’s published position paper in which the nomenclature of allergy-related diseases including atopic and allergic contact eczemas are simplified and clarified. There are common eczemas like: atopic eczema, contact dermatitis, xerotic eczema, seborrhea dermatitis and less common types such as: dyshidrosis, discoid eczema, venous eczema, dermatitis herpetiformis, neurodermatitis, etc
Apparently there is no known cure for eczema, which means that the existing treatments are meant to control the symptoms, reduce the inflammation and relieve the itching. Eczema treatment that has been tried so far includes both medications and natural remedies. The medicines used to eliminate eczema belong to the corticosteroids family (ointments, pills or injections), anti-hitch drugs, immunosuppressants, antibiotics and immunomodulators. The solutions provided by a basic eczema treatment represent only part of the approach to this condition. There are external factors that could make one more resistant or susceptible to developing the dermatological problem, and they do require all the attention. Maintaining the affected area moist, you can help skin healing and relieve the symptoms.

They have oat essence and ceramides that help moisturize extra dry skin. It's Dermatologist developed, clinically tested, fragrance-free and can be used daily, even on babies.
It's available at most drug stores, Wal-mart and Target, both priced anywhere from $8-10 each.
When I used the lotion, I saw improvement after the first night I used it. The body wash smells kinda funny (like fish or something), but it really helps keep the eczema from coming back.
Good luck!
