Do Whey Protein Supplements Have Any Side Effects?
You are always hearing that you need to check with your doctor before you embark on any fitness regime. That is always worth it. Going for a physical and a consultation with your doctor can get you some great advice on starting your workouts. An easy thing t forget however, is what food you will be consuming. It's at least as important to talk about what you'll be eating as what you'll be doing. It is well known that when you are hitting the gym hard, trying to get fitter or grow, you need more protein. You can get this protein in in many ways from natural food, meats and fish etc to protein powder supplements and liquid protein supplements as well as protein bars. Its easy to find yourself confused about the potential side effects of protein supplements with all of the scientific sounding claims. to be blunt, no. Most of the supplements that you can get are simply food supplements and so not really different to eating large amounts of lean chicken breast - except much more convenient. It is always a good idea to consult your doctor as there is always the chance that you could expereince some side effects from whey protein.
If the person is allergic to anything in the ingredients then taking a whey protein supplement could cause an allergic reaction. there is always the possibility that something that goes into the supplement has come into contact with peanuts. You can generally find this on the packaging.
Check the packaging of any protein powder that you are looking at if you are allergic to some foods such as peanuts and make sure that that supplement does not contain any of them. If you don't have any alergies, then you don't need to concern yourself about this.
Working Out.
It is important that you are working out hard if you expect to need a whey protein supplement. Basically, you will see no side affects from whey protein supplements when you are working out hard. Eating normal food and consuming a whey protein supplement are really very similar. Remember, you should get as much of your protein from normal food as you can, but it is very hard to get all of it that way and that’s where protein supplements come in.Whey protein supplements can get the nutrients to your muscles as fast as possible.
The conclusion that you can take away from this is that side affects with a whey protein supplement are unlikely and not something that you should worry about unless you are already allergic to some foods. Try to eat as much of your protein as real food. Eat right, take a top quality protein supplement and most importantly, hit the gym hard and you will reach your goals in no time. To be on the safe side, you should have a consultation with your doctor to check you don't have any
side effects from your whey protein supplement because of unknown allergies.

Try Muscle Milk. It's used by many, many professional and amateur bodybuilders and in my own opinion is by far the best tasting protein shake out there. Mocha Joe flavor is EXCELLENT.
haha
omega 3 supplements, they're good for you because it provides protien and reduce cancer causing cells
Rodrigo,
You first need to understand that NO supplement is going to build muscle for you, or even change your results all that much. The vast, vast majority of supplements out there are overpriced and ineffective, and they are marketed by shady companies who do not care whether or not you actually see results. In this regard, you need to take the same mentality as if you were trying to lose weight, make money, or do anything else that requires REAL effort - do not listen to emotional or outrageous advertising and buy products that promise huge results.
Now, it is good that you focused somewhat on protein in your question. Protein is the most important macronutrient for building muscle, and you will need a lot of it. To that end, a quality protein powder may help you. Protein powders are some of the few supplements that can actually make a difference, but you still need to watch out for ones that are of low quality or that cost way too much per gram of protein.
There isn't one that's the best, but your best bet is to stop around online. Most health food stores, supplement stores, and other physical shops sell protein powders that are either WAY overpriced or are totally disgusting in taste. Look for reputable companies and then look for REVIEWS. Whey protein powders are extremely popular, and any good product is going to have good reviews. You want to look for products that have positive reviews for flavor, texture, and protein purity (lack of carbs and fats). Ignore what people say about "how much it worked for them." Anyone that claims a "bad" protein powder was the cause of their poor results doesn't understand how bodybuilding nutrition works.
Finally, make sure you're focusing on your overall diet, as well. Protein comes first, but you need to eat enough quality carbs and fats to make up the additional calories you'll need to gain muscular weight. Focus mainly on quality foods like whole grains, fruits, vegetables, oils, nuts, seeds, and some fatty fish and red meat.
Hope that helps
I used to take muscle milk, the powder. It didn't taste all too bad, it was also easier to mix than the eas stuff.
for building muscle i would say protein and creatine. for protein look for something with at least 20g of protein per serve like optimum nutrition whey. For creatine definitely gaspari size-on. crazy muscle gains from it.
firstly only take a protein supp if you can't get enough through your diet, you need between 1.2 and 1.6 grams per kg of bodyweight, overdosing on protein can cause serious health problems in the long term, excess protein is harmful to your liver.
protein is used mostly for muscle repair so without the right training, and enough total calories in your diet it won't matter what protein powder you use.
the best quality protein powders will be a protein isolate rather than a concentrate which is often cheaper.
Soy protein isolate is around 90% protein content and Soy protein concentrate is about 70% soy protein.

Who says he doesn't eat anything afterwards? This simply gives him more control over his carb intake. And what if he's diabetic? Still think he's a retarded dope for wanting more control over what he puts in his body?

I have lupus and feel that gluten is probably a trigger. What do you think? I have a cousin with Lupus too.
These days there are hundreds of protein supplements within the market. The protein supplement market is billion dollar business. However many supplements aren't as efficient as they are made out to be. Also numerous of them don't have a great taste as a result of which people stay away from them. Protein supplements are needed before and after a gastric by pass, bariatric, and lap band surgery. 1 of the very best protein supplements that may be given to the patient is Fresh Start.
Great stuff man...What is the oil in the bottle? And what kind of multi vitamin is that one? Thanks and keep the videos coming!
