Body Envy Boot Camps Are All The Rage!
There are many types of boot camps who serve different groups of people, such as women's only camps, men, and kids who are looking to shed those unwanted pounds, even if the exercises are going to be intense. Most people today are looking to enjoy a healthy life style and look fabulous while doing so. In most towns across the country you can find this preferred method of sliming down, toning, and weight training.
There are camps locally which tend to run from month to month, and you may also find mini camps while away on a trip. You may find a local camp that runs all through the year where you learn proper form and weight training techniques while seeing results. Make sure to look for camps when booking your next vacation. They may have one where you are located.
Most people today are eager to stay healthy and physically fit and will find a way to be present at boot camp. The expense for boot camps are feasable to allow all to join. An experienced camp trainer provides you with all the tools necessary to help guide you on your way to healthy living, and how to avoid problems and injuries caused by being over weight. One great aspect is that you don't even need a gym to lose weight since a lifestyle change can be done even at a boot camp!
It's very important while at these camps to start with a warm-up by stretching the muscles. It is key before strength and weight training to make sure your body is warmed up and ready to go. This can be done by a simple warm up such as a light jog around camp or something that gets the heart rate slightly elevated. This will help to avoid injuries and prepare your body for more strenuous activity. After your session at camp, it's neccesary to stretch all the major muscle groups you engaged during your camp session.
If you have any major medical concerns or conditions, it is extremely important you check in with your doctor before starting a rigorous exercise routine. It can be expected to feel a little stiff after your workouts until your body acclimates to some of the exercises. It is always wise to ask your doctor before participating in any physical activity to avoid any injuries.

Someone once said, "Health is wealth." This statement is true given that there are more teens obese today than it was 20 years ago which could lead to various problems in the future such as diabetes and heart disease.

I'd say $25,000 to $50,000 ballpark.
Less if you do it part time, more if you become the personal trainer to the stars and/or the rich and not so famous, and get your own studio, make your own videos, get on Oprah...
Like an actor could make $200 walking in the background or 20 millions being Johnny Depp.
Certification would depend where you are. It varies for each state (in the US), and for each countries. Some states, you learn CPR and how to use a defibrillator and take a two weeks class and you’re done. Others, you need years of college. Some organizations will let you pass the exam without even studying for it…if you believe that you have enough personal experience in fitness, so the educational program is sometimes not even mandatory.
In the U.S, the five best personal fitness instructor certification programs are the American Council on Exercise (ACE), the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA), the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).
Make sure you get the certification for where you live. One of my friends is a lawyer but she went to law school in New-York. Now, she cannot practice law, because she’s not living in New-York anymore. Another of my friend was a surgeon in Switzerland. Then she moved to Paris, France and could not even be a doctor there. She became THE paramedic who could surgically remove a body entangled in a wheel of a subway train (when people either kill themselves or got pushed).
Personal training is a growing business, the more people are subjected to the fast food/processed food industry, while having jobs with no physical activity, and the more they need to get in better shape.
The only problem is that personal training is a profession where it needs to be your vocation if you want to be any good.
Like doctors…do you do it because of the money or because you want to save lives…those are two different doctors. The first one, not very good, s/he sees a problem, s/he just refers you to a specialist. That one will play golf on Fridays and have a trophy wife/husband and a big house; the second one, the good dedicated, efficient one, will work at the free clinic or go to foreign devastated countries around the world.
So, whatever the certification, you have good personal trainers and bad ones. Good ones motivate you and you get results in an enjoyable way, bad ones gives you pain, shame, make you feel inadequate and you don’t get good satisfying results.
A bad one could injure his/her clients so sometimes clubs are reluctant to hire anybody because they would get the end of any lawsuits. It’s like I can’t even get a massage anywhere because clubs, fitness centers and even medical facilities got rid of them…what if a client sues because the massage therapist did an improper gesture or just because the client did not feel better or s/he experienced any pain??? Or what if a client is not happy because the massage therapist DID NOT do an improper gesture (hello, guys?).
Personal fitness training is like massages…you’re one on one and it’s a personal, close, intimate relationship based on trust. With massages, you have to allow a complete stranger to touch your body, while you close your eyes, listen to soothing music and let go of all your stress and tension.
There is no witness nurse to make sure everything is good and nobody is suing anybody, unlike those witness nurses who are always in the room when you get a pelvic exam (if you’re a woman). I’m French and there is no “witness nurse” there and I can tell you that they are needed. A man gynecologist with magic fingers could take advantage of you and you cannot even sue the bastard because it felt so good.
How come you “won’t be meeting with your personal trainer for the time being”??? I’m hoping s/he’s on vacation and it’s not about money or fear of lawsuits or s/he’s no longer in the club/medical center.
I guess being a fitness instructor is like being a hairdresser or a French (or any language) teacher. You would pay $10 for a haircut by a hairdresser working for some company, but if the hairdresser is an artist, you’ll be willing to pay $100 to go to her/his house or s/he comes to your house and you get the best haircut (it’s still nowhere near $1,000 haircut on rodeo drive).
Most of it is “word of mouth”. If you get the best haircut, everybody will want to know about your hairdresser.
If you get the best body, everybody will want to know about your personal trainer.

A lot of people have a tough time syncing their balance boards. Here are some syncing tips:
-be sure the batteries in your balance board are NEW.
-make sure the Wii Fit disc is in the Wii console and don't try to sync the balance board until prompted.
-hold the balance board VERY CLOSE to the Wii console while they are trying to sync. In fact, have it almost touching the Wii, just to be sure.
