This article describes how difficult it is to name anything as "best".

According to many studies both in the US and in other countries, Americans on average drink around 25 gallons of bottled water each year. The year 2006 witnessed Americans spending around $11 billion in bottled water to quench their thirst.The consumption of different beers is same as water in America. The economist has predicted that the people of America will be drinking more bottled water than municipal water.

Though all of us know that we should drink much water for a healthy lifestyle, it is a hard choice to decide which is the best. With so many brands of bottled water on the grocery shelves, which is considered best?All water have pros and cons.

Tap water is the least expensive and available with just a turn of the faucet.The water, supplied by municipal water plants contains chlorine which purifies water and fluoride which protects the teeth against decay.Many of the people prefer other type of water because they believe that added fluoride and chlorine is not a healthy addition to water.

Most of the bottled water is not standardized and they are similar to the tap water however they are convenient to carry anywhere.You can find the properties of bottled water in to "spring water".“Purified water” is bottled water that is just had all the minerals taken out, it is not any better for ones health as it is devoid of minerals. “Distilled water” is the same as “purified water” as both are just water in which a process was used to take all the minerals out.

Mineral water is bottled water that must include below 250 per million minerals in the water.People have different thinkings about the minerals whether it is good or it is bad for our health. Some may believe because of the better taste, it must be better for you but that has not been proven.

Sparkling bottled water is just water that has been treated and has naturally, or added to it, carbon dioxide to add a fizz and bubbles.Club water and selzer aren't exactly sparkling waters. Sugar and salt make them soft drinks. The second issue might help with the discussion - what the word ‘best’ means. That word could mean different things to different people.People feel that water that tastes best is healthy water.

So we come to the end of this article, not defining what the best bottled wateris.Probably it is better said by a person's taste and as for health - water is synchronized in some specific ways by some agencies, therefore it is not possible to say that which bottled water is healthier and which is not.However this is just writer’s opinion and I am sure that the companies that manufactured bottled water would beg to differ with me.
